Whereva U Like - Problem

Compton rapper Problem, who launched his solo rap career with his debut single, “I’m Toe Up” for label Universal Republic, now releases “Wherever You Like”, to be on his upcoming untitled debut album.

The little known rapper was born in Germany, but raised in Compton and has been a ghostwriter and producer before letting loose as a rapper, working with Snoop Dogg, DJ Quik, Kurupt, producer Terrace Martin & DJ Felli Fel on “I’m Toe Up”.

“Whereva You Like” can be conceptually summed up as being simply about having sex anywhere. Surely influenced by T.I’s “Whatever You Like”, but with a less generous subject than giving a girl the freedom of any material purchase she desires, in “Whereva You Like”, Problem gives a girl the freedom of any location she desires for sex, be it “in the car” or “in the shower”!

Over slow cadence of seductive beats and melody, Problem’s matching flow comes through, tunefully rapping sexually provocative lyrics such as “We could do it at the restaurant, do it at the movies, I keep you hot and wet like a jacuzzi”, “I’m a lick you up and I’m a lick you down” and frequently “Baby on the couch, baby on the bed, baby we can do it whereva you like”. Problem employs Auto-Tune technology in the release, to electronically modify his voice, most detectable in final opening “Oh when you’re oozing”. (Anyone oozing for Problem’s “Whereva You Like” yet?)

“Where You Like” is a single that flirts with the imagination, as Problem medleys his lustful lyrics together well on top of an apt rhythm.
