That’s How I Go - Baby Bash (feat. Mario & Lil’ Jon)

“That’s How I Go” is rapper/R&B artist Baby Bash’s first release of his latest untitled album due to be released in 2009. It features Mario on the hook and ad-libs from Lil John (who also produced the single).

In “That’s How I Go”, Baby Bash and Mario pour a mixture of lust and affection through the mic for the girls, with smooth vocals describing their desires and benevolence. Baby Bash takes the lusty role, rhyming:

“I swear I’ve seen you somewhere else; maybe it was on a movie screen,
Maybe it was on a television, or on the cover of a magazine;
I know and I don’t care; let me see your underwear,
Let me see how thick you is baby, let me see what’s under there.”

Mario takes the hook in heartfelt style saying “I met a lot of ladies and I travel the world; sometimes I party like crazy showin’ love to the girls”. He claims that before the girls know it, they’re going to get the key to his crib.

Lil’ Jon produces a base stream that slightly resembles the Baby Bash single “Cyclone”, and his own hit single “Snap Yo Fingers”, with similarities between the three in the high pitch keyboard melody and the base beat. Lil Jon produces a slower tempo and more uniform rhythm for “That’s How I Go”.

“That’s How I Go” was released on December 23, 2008 and has reached No. 33 on the U.S Billboard Rhythmic Top 40. Its blend of desiring lyrics and quality sound is worth a listen (check it out here).
