Rotate - Capone-N-Noreaga (feat Busta Rhymes & Ron Browz)

“Rotate” is New York duo Copen-N-Noreaga’s second single of their third album “Channel 10″, which is yet to be released. The single features fellow New York rapper Busta Rhymes and was produced by Ron Browz.

Ron Browz’ input produces a party single, with an energetic, menacing and scintillating beat matched by the New York lyricists’ dynamism to make a bumping sound.

“Rotate” is a celebratory track with its fair share of bragging. Capone provides his nasal delivery and takes the hook with a mellow tempo, spitting: “My n**ga find a girl and rotate, my n**ga find a girl and rotate; shorty find a dude and rotate, shorty find a dude and rotate; cuz the Super Thug is back, the Super Thug is back”.

Then, N.O.R.E (formerly Noreaga), who is more bullish throughout, makes his entrance with a pause-break verbal rhythm: “N.O.R., I’m back, I ain’t go far; you want me to fall off, this war’s off; they want me with no cribs and no cars, pam, pam, homes I go so hard”.

Busta Rhymes bursts in with an early rushed rhyme style before reeling out his alternating cadence verbal delivery. He opens with the alliteratively rhythmical: “Yo, I said Hello [hi], hi [hello], hello, hi [hello], hello, I’m ready to black smash, smash it with N.O. [N.O]”, before continuing with self-congratulating lyrics.

“Rotate” was released on January 27 on iTunes (check it out here) and has reached No. 15 on the U.S Billboard Bubbling Under R&B/Hip Hop Singles charts after its entry 4 weeks ago, showing that the exciting Ron Browz beat is inevitably popular.
