Crack A Bottle – Eminem (feat. 50 Cent & Dr. Dre)

“Crack A Bottle” is multi-platinum rapper Eminem’s first single off his long-awaited fifth studio album, “Relapse”, due to be out in Spring 2009.
Following several rumored releases, leaks and bluffs, Eminem has finally released an official single following several years of hiatus since his fourth album, “Encore” (2004). “Crack A Bottle” sees Eminem back with his familiar Aftermath crew of 50 Cent & Dr. Dre, who also produced the single and has been missing from the mic for even longer than Slim Slady.
Eminem, self-proclaimed “most diabolical villain in the world”, comes back with an urgent, to the point flow, abruptly sparking one female basing lyric to the next: “B*tches lust. Man they love me when I lay in the cut.” and “Don’t act like a snobby model, you just hit the lotto.”
“Crack A Bottle” has a mild tempo beat from Dr. Dre, well graced by the man himself, as the entry of his voice makes the hairs stand up before his smooth, unrushed verbal flow reverts you to his cool rhythm with “But hey, what else can I say, I love LA; cuz over and above all, its just another day”. 50 Cent follows with his abrasive verbal tone and penetrating vibe, spitting “Motherf*cker I’m grown, I stunt, I style, I flash the sh*t” takes you over”.
With Dr. Dre and 50 Cent both set to release albums in 2009, both warmed up the year with their typical style on the mic in “Crack A Bottle” following Eminem’s controversy loaded lyrics, as all three wet the appetite for what should be an exciting year with them. “Crack A Bottle” was released on February 2 on iTunes (check it out here).
