Wayne in “Let It Rock”; Bentley’s “Everybody” Video

For all you hip hop fans who also listen to Rock and Pop on the side, you are going to love this new song by Kevin Rudolf. “Let It Rock” is Rudolf’s debut single for his debut album “In the City” and features none other than Lil Wayne himself, who I must admit did an outstanding job on the track. Check out the single here and be sure to keep your ears open for this one on the radio.

In other news, I was browsing the “New Releases” from iTunes and happened to find a new artist that I had not heard of before, Sketch Williams. He recently released his latest single “Girl With the Pretty Name”, which is his second single since his first album “Moonlit Tunnel”. He offers two versions of the song: the original version and the remix. I took a chance and tried the remix version first, and was I ever impressed with this production. It’s definitely a big change from mainstream hip hop, but if you can get past the cartoon album cover, it’s worth a shot.

And finally, this new music video made my week. Fonzworth Bentley released video “Everybody” which features hit artists Kanye West and Andre 3000. The trio completely outdid themselves in this one, delivering a very creative piece with the “Cool Outrageous Lovers of Uniquely Raw Style”. (Gotta check it out to know what I’m talking ’bout).
