Represent Your Style in the Champion Hoodie Remix Contest

One of the main brands in men and woman’s sportswear, Champion, is offering a web-based interactive competition in self-expression called the Hoodie Remix. Until March 31, 2009, hoodie devotees are encouraged to access the website and tailor their own style using a user-friendly template enabling variations from color, pattern to overall style. Customizations such as choosing hoods, sleeves, pockets allow consumers to tailor a unique refinement of the Champions classic for themselves.
Every version of Hoodie entered in the competition is publicized for anyone to vote. The most voted design will be awarded the winner of the Hoddie Remix contest on May 29, 2009 and possibly added to the Champion’s product list as a limited-edition hoodie.
Champion Brand Marketing Director Claire Edgar stated “The Hoodie Remix campaign is one of Champion’s innovative media initiatives in 2009…the contest will definitely challenge the creativity of our consumer, while engaging them and strengthening their connection with the Champion brand”.
Since bringing in Night Agency, a New York digital shop, as its official digital agency in November 2008, Hoodie Remix is Champion’s first web-based marketing initiative. Hoodie Remix is the basis for a number of forthcoming efforts focused on the important online consumer that aim to support their participation.
