Dame Grease Becoming One of Today’s Superstars
November 3, 2008 | Author: OfficiallyHipHop
As one of the hottest producers in the game, Dame Grease cracked open his career when he helped usher in a gritty artist by the name of DMX in 1998. Grease produced the majority of the album “It’s Dark & Hell is Hot”. The album went 4x platinum and ever since then, he has been on every DMX release.
The Harlem native has worked with such artists as Nas, The Lox, Freeway, T.I., Jay-Z, Beanie Siegel, Fat Joe, Mary J. Blige, Tricky and Kelis, just to name a few.
Due to the success of his platinum hits (over 30 million records sold and counting), Dame Grease has quickly become one of today’s mega superstars. He has been featured in major music print publications, online music and lifestyle web-zines, has over two million views on YouTube.com, and has even appeared numerous times on BET.
So far, Dame Grease has established himself as a major presence within the music and entertainment industry, and he will only continue to climb his way up even further from here on out. Grease is currently in the studio working on more tracks, and some of them are for MaxB.
